NOTICE OF WATER WORK
January 14, 2026
To improve the reliability of water service, the City of Pelham will be replacing water mains along Chandalar Lane and Hamilton Road. As with any construction project, residents may experience occasional inconveniences, including traffic disruptions and brief water outages.
For any planned water outages, the Water Department will provide advance notice. In rare cases, unplanned outages may occur due to accidental damage during construction; if that happens, crews will make repairs as quickly as possible. The City and its contractor will work to minimize disruptions, and any affected driveways or yards will be restored once the project is complete. We appreciate your patience during this important work.
Construction is expected to begin the week of January 19 and will take approximately eight months, with completion anticipated around August or September 2026. This timeline is approximate and may change due to factors beyond the City’s or contractor’s control, such as weather. Project updates will be posted on the City’s website at
